But I knew the name of this endeavor needed to have meaning, be inspirational, and avoid any (awkward international) misunderstandings, all without being dry and boringly descriptive.

So the brainstorming began…. and after literally dozens of possibilities were generated, researched and shared with friends, the name magically appeared by answering the following questions:

Q: What were we going to do?

A: Build a nonprofit that supported Dance, Music and Art.

Q: Who would benefit?

A: Students, Teachers, and Families.

Q: Why are the Arts important?

A: They connect our past, present and future.

Q: Why is this nonprofit important?

A: It provides intellectual, physical and emotional benefits for children.

You see the theme of threes, don’t you?

And since the name had to be perfect, Trifecta – which is derived from Tri+perfecta – was the choice!
